Rockstar Editor
The Rockstar Editor in games like Grand Theft Auto V lets players create and edit cinematic gameplay videos and pictures with tools for capturing footage, placing cameras, and adding effects.
As of July 26, 2024, FiveM has not provided a fix for the Rockstar Editor crashing with encrypted resources. However, the following steps have been successful in using the Rockstar Editor:
Record Your Clips
Capture the footage you need.
Restart FiveM
Exit the game and restart it.
Fly In
Re-enter the game. Ensure you're not inside a house, but the location doesn't need to be specific.
Open the Editor
Access the editor through the F1 menu.
Exit the Editor
This will take you to the FiveM loading screen.
Open Replay Editor
At the bottom left of the screen, click on "Replay Editor."
Click on the red button and wait for it to load (there won't be any indication that it's loading, but it is, and it takes a while).
Edit Your Clip
You'll be able to edit one clip before the editor crashes. Repeat the process for each new clip.
